It was such a delight to see the words “You saved the day!” as the subject of an email nestled among the long list of marketing emails, promotional emails and sales outreach emails. I instinctively knew from the address that this was a legitimate sender and not phishing. I clicked on it immediately because I didn’t recall having done anything spectacular lately and was wondering….huh?

Just thought I would share what we created from your awesome pattern and fantastic tutorial.

We made longer arms so they could be movable, put him in a human baby shirt, hot glued some hair and glasses.

We didn’t have felt so glued red material to cardboard for mouth.

We love him!!

Harold is an A+ Puppet

I do believe that my customers are some of the most creative and imaginative people on earth. Kathy and Megan adapted the pattern to fit their needs by making the arms longer. They even improvised how to make the mouth since they didn’t have the recommended stiffened felt. In addition they’ve shown that baby clothes are a pretty good choice for clothing. To add the finishing features they used a glue gun. I commend their talents in that area since I hand sew everything because my glue gun skills are dismal. Harold is not only a professional looking puppet, he has character too!

I don’t know what part of the school activity Harold played, but as someone who has made custom puppets to sell, I give him an A+.
