In the last blog article we listed some Fun Facts about penguins. We also had a free download of a penguin coloring page for the kids (or you) to color. In this blog we want to share our favorite craft activities that we found on the web. There are so many out there it was hard to choose.
This cotton ball penguin craft is from Easy Peasy and Fun. Its great for toddlers, preschoolers and even kindergartners to help develop motor control.
Reading Confetti has this cute circle penguin craft that is simple and offers the opportunity for lots of scissor practice cutting out the circles. You might have to help the younger ones do the cutting but they can definitely do the gluing!
I have to admit that this is the cutest penguin craft that I’ve ever seen. It is geared for K-2nd grade. If you don’t have oil pastels or tempura paint, a white crayon could make the “snowflakes.” Found this at Merry Making Blogspot.
I love craft activities that use paper plates because they are so inexpensive. This design is clever since it uses the whole plate with no scraps to throw away. This idea is from Kids Activities Woo!
Have some spare paper lunch bags laying around? Then get ready to turn them into some penguin puppets. Use our free penguin paper bag puppet pattern designed by The Tucson Puppet Lady herself! It’s a great activity for the kids to color, cut out, glue and then play with.
