Create an adorable bat hand puppet for Halloween this year. Mix up the yarn color accents to create your own camp of bats.

The puppet is very simple to make – just cut felt and glue together. You could hand sew it too, if you wanted.

What you’ll need:
• Bat Puppet Pattern PDF
• 2 black felt sheets
• 1 white felt sheet or scraps
• 1 dark pink felt sheet or scraps
• White yarn
• Blue, orange or purple yarn
• Crayons
• Glue (Hot glue, Fabric Tac or any glue that works with felt)
• Scissors
• Pins

How to Make the Bat Felt Hand Puppet:
Trace the body pattern on top black felt sheet with crayon.

Pin the top black felt sheet to bottom black felt sheet so they stay together when you cut.

Cut the felt along the traced body line.

Glue the two layers of felt together around the edge keeping the bottom open for your hand.

Cut out all the felt and yarn features.

Glue the ears, eyes, mouth and teeth.

Glue the nose, pupils and wings.

Glue the yarn accents and gleams.
