Penguins in Books
In our previous blog article we listed a few links to craft projects featuring penguins that we found around the web. We also had a free download of penguin paper bag puppet pattern.
We are continuing the penguin theme with a list of books that we thought would be interesting and fun to pair with a penguin puppet. We’ve noticed that kids become more engaged during reading when a puppet is used to help bring a book alive.

Our Penguin Puppet Sewing Pattern is the pattern of the month! There is something about penguins that make them so cute. Maybe it’s because they are continuously dressed in a “tuxedo.” The purpose of that tuxedo is for camouflage. From above, its black back blends into the murky depths of the ocean. From below, its white belly is hidden against the bright surface.
