Back in 2015, I created the Cow Puppet Pattern. This pattern has always been a black sheep in the pattern family. I originally made it from a black and white cow printed short fur that I liked. However, the busy pattern made the pictures and video for the pattern hard to see. I eventually changed the tutorial video to a brown cow for better visibility. Eventually I came back to redo the pattern, but ended up creating a cuter cow pattern that I’ve named the Baby Cow Pattern. I planned to replace the original cow with the newer one, but I had the thought that someone might like the older design. So once again the original cow pattern is on the list to redo the photos in the near future.

What is the Difference Between the Horse and Unicorn Patterns?
Back in 2015, I created the Horse Puppet Pattern. Included in the pattern were simple adaptations to make a unicorn and zebra. I liked the original horse pattern, but I always wanted to make something a bit cuter. The new unicorn was something I’d work on and adapt, then put away. Something was never quite right or too complicated. I finally buckled down this year and finished the new Unicorn Puppet Pattern.

How Much Do Materials Cost for Your Puppet Patterns?
The cost of the materials to make one of my animal puppets is a bit tricky to pin down. Finding the materials in your area could be really easy or challenging depending on where in the world you live. I’m fortunate to have Michaels, JoAnn and SAS Fabrics just a drive away. Others might need to rely only on online stores with additional shipping costs.
